3 days later, Akif demam and doktor confimed that he has contracted HFM. So much for outdoor activities.

All girls trip this time was really amazing. This is like the ultimate holiday. All 9 of us was on a Caribbean Cruise vacation that we’ve booked since early this year . It was filled with royalty treatment, non stop activities, fabulous dining, rocking night life, relaxing on deck or at a world class spa. Everyone came prepared with parios and large hats with huge sunglasses. Macam film star okeh..! From the moment we felt the wind on our face…caressing us like …****PANG****

Ok, I just slapped myself so I can come back t the real world.

Tak la…the girls trip tahun ni kitaorang gi Bandung lagi. It was still so much fun.
The famous Marini (selalu dengar cerita tapi tak pernah jumpa) joined us this time. Kesian dia..mesti lost as we laugh like hyenas at jokes yang tah hapa hapa, sometimes we laugh for no apparent reason. She must be thinking what a bunch of loonies. Tak pe ..it’s ok…memang we are a bunch of loonies pun. And laughter, it’s infectious. And don’t mess with us when we are hungry….boleh gelak sampai lebam.

The plane was late…siot betull..Rumah Mode dah bukak tau!….So we were there at the lounge, trying to kill the time…debating on whether the 2 famous Fernandez are siblings. Are they? The company supplied us with nasi lemak..saja la nak bagi hilang angin satu badan tu.

So, flight yang scheduled at 9.50 jadi 12pm. Banyak masa shopping yang kerugian okeh. But takpe…janji it’s a holiday..janji I am with friends who are as retarded as I am. Janji boleh makan flight food walaupun sekadar maggi mee RM7 satu bowl.

I am not sure what time we reached there. The ever loyal Hendry was there waiting for us. Siap ada lagu background “Right Here Waiting for You”..Over tau!

Our first stop was obviously Rumah Mode..Didn’t change much except for the café yang makin meriah. Bagi mendapatkan tenaga, we decided to eat first..Ya la..this is Amazing Race after all ok…tenaga amat perlu agar tumpuan sharp dan tepat. The food was good…I liked my Mee Ayam. I liked the one in Kedutaan Indonesia in Malaysia better…tapi it could be sebab aku pening kepala so makan pun macam kena biasa biasa je.

Habis je makan, Amazing Race yang pertama pun bermula. Masing masing hilang membawa arah masing masing. Takpe when it comes to shopping semua orang agak pandai membawa diri.

I love my fake Balenciaga…RM40 je. Sungguh chenta. Sorry no photos...kesian ada orang jeles. Kita tak boleh riak dan takbur, nanti kang ada bala pula yang menimpa.

I love Beyonce’s concert in the van. Body dia amat gorgeous…amat bergetah..and the jokes about it, let’s make it a private joke. Malu lak den. Thank you.

I love the dinner we had kat ..apetah nama tu..but the food was good.

The Scrapbook King shop..kedai scrapbooking where I got my birthday presents from the gang. Pilih sendiri okeh..

And I especially love all my friends on this trip. Adik even surprised us with a birthday cake. How sweet is that? Tapi memang kesweetan itu tidak dapat diexpresskan sebab too tired and stress on how to mengemas all the things that we've bought. Thank you Dik...You are the best!

Disini, disertakan tips basic yang perlu diketahui oleh semua shopholic & season shopholic.
Step 1 – Panggil kengkawan yg sehati sejiwa dan memahami masalah anda untuk pertolongan.

Step 2 – For medium size bag, wajarlah dengan menekan bag menggunakan pressure dari lutut untuk menutup bag tersebut.
For bigger bags, sit on it.(No illustrations can be provided sebab photographer busy makan cake)
There’s only 2 possibilities, berjaya atau tidak. Worst case scenario, bag pecah. Think on the bright side, that’s another reason to shop more sebab kena beli beli bag baru…

Step 3 – Perseverance is the key here. Henyak sampai tutup bag bercantum. Never let go of the pressure. It’ll boink back on your face.

Renewing your maid’s Indonesian passport for Dummies

Perkara wajib:
1. Tuan punya badan (no wakil wakil )
2. Paspot lama Tuan punya badan
3. Majikan tuan punya badan...spouse pun takpe.
4. Photocopy of ID of the majikan or spouse yang hadir bersama
5. Photocopy of the passport lama
6. 4 keping gambar bersize paspot latar belakang warna merah
7. RM22
8. Newspaper, a paperback, a portable game, Mini laptop to kill the time.
9. Datang awal. Our number was 154 and we came around 8.15 am.

Nota: If tak sempat nak buat salinan for your ID, passport or gambar latar belakang merah, can do it on premise. Ada booth kat luar, 1 (kat the parking next door) dan 1 lagi right before the kaunter ambik nombor.

Steps to be taken:

1. State your business kat kaunter pintu masuk. You will be given a proper borang to isi (untuk renew paspot, borang warna biru)
2. Isi borang
3. Then proceed to ambik nombor.
4. Then gerak ke dewan menunggu yang ber”air cond” dan amat selesa.
5. Don’t be so gumbira….the dewan menunggu yang amat selesa is only for the tuan punya paspot, majikan kena tunggu kat luar. Even kids oso cannot go in so YOU will have to wait outside ,dengan tempat duduk yg tak cukup dan one miserable kipas yg ala ala sepoi bahasa.
6. Tu yang tak best, yang bestnya…got canteen, and the food is SO sedap & cheap.
7. I tried the Mie Ayam sebab teringat Adik dok cerita that she tried it in BDO. Sedap tahap tertutup mata menikmati kelazatannya.

This time around, the wait was quite a while. ..if you call 5 jam quite a while.I had a paperback with me…managed to read up to page ke 200 lebih in between SMS, phone calls & stretching.

So if you can’t leave your worker there confidently or she does not have a HP to call you when everything is done, then bring something to do. If not, sila proceed ke tempat tempat bershopping tingkap berdekatan agar tak kering dan naik angin di situ tak tentu pasal.

Errr…lepas ni, sapa sapa yang nak pi Kedutaan Indonesia to renew paspot, can I come along? Aku nak makan the Mie Ayam again…Malu la pulak nak gi semata-mata nak makan jer…apa Acik nak cakap kat kaunter depan tu?

Motif perkelahan ini adalah to memenatkan the kids so they will nap the whole afternoon. Ni Acik punya idea. Gleefully, we all dok imagine all the three Gremlins terbongkang tertidur kerana kepenatan.I am so looking forward to the peace and quite...tranquility didalam rumah sendiri.
So pagi pagi lagi we all dah sampai kat sini. We can no longer park at the pergigian air, now have to park outside and walk in.
Wahh...pemandangan yang sungguh hening..pagi beb..sojuk lagi..

Bukak kasut...Bismillahirrahmanirrahimm...

Maid nak balik bercuti for Dummies

Do you know that you’ll need a kebenaran from Kedutaan Indonesia? Do you know how to go about?

Now you will.

Pagi pagi, lepas breakfast….Monday to Friday, sila ke Kedutaan Indonesia di Jalan Tun Razak. If you are from Sg Besi, the building will be on your left hand side. Lepas aje the overhead bridge for pedestrian depan RHB bank tu, keep to your left. Terus je sampai nampak Building warna putih.. Wait …all three building kat situ warna putih…aaaaa….the one yang next to Passage to India restaurant.

Masuk je pintu pagar, akan ada sort of a kaunter borang. State what you need or kalau macam nak control macho and nak jadi ”Mr/ Mrs Know It All”, ambil a borang bertajuk “ Formulir Perubahan Alamat”

I won’t elaborate why you need to isi borang Perubahan Alamat when you actually nak balik bercuti je. I oso donno why.

Dalam formulir tersebut, semua isi tempat kosong perlu diisi. Tapi aku yakin dan pasti semua orang akan terstumble for item 5 and 6.

Ada la seorang pakcik guard kat situ yang tengok aku terkeruk keruk lost, dia pun tolong isikan…
• Item 5 is Alamat pekerja di Indonesia
• Item 6 pulak adalah Alamat Majikan di Malaysia

Document yang perlu ada bersama permohonan:
• Salinan pasport pekerja
• Salinan IC pemohon ( aku punye la since aku yang pergi)
(This is not needed if pekerja comes along)

Then, follow the crowd, ambik nombor giliran dan masuk ke dalam satu dewan menunggu. Wowwww....Acik sungguh imprress. Besar gilaaaa...

Tepat pukul 8.30 am, numbers started to be called. Laju …tak ler macam kat Imigresen yang amat selow melowww..Mellow Barry Manilow aku dibuatnya..I was dumbstruck with admiration.

My number was called lepas 15 minutes of waiting.. the officer tu akan attempt berborak borak kosong, check check the papers & passport, lepas tu you’ll have to wait to be called again. Leave the passport at the counter.

Lepas tu, tunggu la lagi…they’ll call the same number given earlier for you to collect the passport. Sign a slip saying you have collected the passport and they’ll pass the passport to you.

Something will be printed in the passport along with the signature of the Kepala Kantor.

Tu je lah…sungguh takde hassle.

Next month, I’ll need to renew Ani’s passport. It will only take one day…less than 3 hours it seems. Ain’t that cool?

Pool getahku..

I bought this last year, tak bukak buka sampai la last week. My kids are water babies, pantang tengok air, terus hyper....aku pun hyper jugak, tapi hyperventilating.

Mula-mula kita group massage agar takde yang cramp kaki...ya ke?

Sekarang kita berlagak seolah-olah kita berada di Sunway Lagoon...

Pouting ala ala Marilyn Monroe perlu apabila ada camera in sight..diiringi dengan "Strike A Pose"..sebagai background music.

Amir attempt to snorkel in the pool, sampai terkeluar-keluar kaki...Kesian dia. (Walaupun no official complain was voiced out, Acik terasa tau..)

Brotherly group huggg....

Disebabkan mereka amat lasak dan terjal, maka the wicked witch of Oz telah wave her magic wand and turn them into Anak Itik To Wi.. Ahhhhh....peace and quiet finally. Inilah yang dipanggil Tranquility.

Tak la...masing masing give up sebab bila swimming tak bergerak-gerak...tang tu jugak.

Moral of the story : I am going to take them to a real pool this Cuti Sekolah. Hopefully in PD next weekend. Conveniently la kan, the week Ida plan for a BBQ. Ahaks!

Arif has been asking me to buy him a guitar. Bukak mata, mintak gitar, the last he'll ask before closing his eyes is " Mama, esok beli gitar , yaa..?" 1st thing he'll be asking bila aku balik kerja, " Mama? Mana gitar Arif?" Aiyoo..sedey ok..
Anak aku ni nak jadi Rock Star ke? Takpe, janji rambut tak leh panjang merebang-rebang..Kalau nak rambut panjang kena buat teknik rebonding..and with the hair history in his family, Acik confident Arif tak jadi Rock Star macam Lefthanded. Simpang malaikat 44. He himself was born botak...umur 7 bulan baru rambut tumbuh ciputtt...Mama to the Rock Star tak leh simpan rambut lepas bahu, sure gugur macam daun during Fall...and bapak diaaa...since korang kenal you should know why...I arrest my case.
So last Friday I dragged Dinot along to Sunway Pyramid, cari kat Toy City. Alhamdulillah...jumpa..You should see Arif's smile..**sighhh** Simply heartwarming..
Gitar yang aku beli tu ala-ala gitar kapok so dia nampak macam Kenny Rogers (not the chickenlah!)la pulak...

Last weekend, untuk merasa naik kereta MC idaman kalbu, I made Ida & gang pick me from Bangsar Village after the scrapbooking class...Told them the FJ Benjamin sale was that week. Frankly, I did not lie...I jut got the date wrong... Oppssss...Minggu ni rupanya.. Aikk? Zurie pun tidak berkereta hari ini? Sejak bila? Saja la nak merasa MC jugak nihh...alasan.

Cumulonimbus seems puffier and the sky seems bluer dari dalam MC.

Seperti yang dijanjikan, we head to Tony Romas, Curve. Tak sabau akibat lapau..

I went for my very 1st lesson of scrapbooking last Saturday. This is my classmate, *a**. Who also happens to be my god daughter. She was so cute and adorable when she was a baby. Now she is a beautiful young lady who's gonna be a real heartbreaker in a few years time. Muahahahahaha..M&M is so going to be in trouble.

I don't know how I am going to fit scrapbooking into my ever busy scheduled but I think I am already hooked to it....actually I am more hooked into buying all the embellishments. The time I spent in Kinokuniya browsing through their stickers collection...yikes...! And I get to see more of M, my sis. We banter and she nags and I need to polish my skill in annoying her to perfection. hehehehe..

Amir & Akif was born on the same day, 6 years apart. Miracle? Tak lah...I got to choose the date because it's a C-section. Akif was suppose to be borned on the 24th March 2007. I told my gynae, Rilek la Doc, it's only 3 days apart..we can wait. She gave that dissapproving look. Pfttt..as if i don't know planned birth are done 3 weeks before the actual birth date.

"Mat Kacau" is 2 years 9 bulan tapi sebab he insist it's his birthday too, we let it be his birthday jugak lah...kesian kat dia.

We sat next to the Emergency Door. During the security briefing, the flight attendant told us that just in case of any emergency, they request our assistance to pull the door open. Adik dengan muka don asked for a practical training, the girl was quite speechless.

Abeden?...the manual is just a sticker on the front seat..We need at least a month training to open the Emergency Exit door during EMERGENCY.Very funny Adik...Ahaks!

After all the nasi we had to consume (it comes with the package), instant mee was a welcoming sight..Since the flight is an Indonesian Air Asia, they don't have our local Maggi mee. ABC pun ABC lah...

is in Standard 1 now. How time flies.In all my solat, he is in my doa. Everyday, he constantly cross my mind. And for the 1st time, I felt like quitting my job and jadi van driver or bus driver. ( 1st time rasa nak jadi bus driver, bukan 1st time rasa nak berenti kerja...tu tiap tiap hari rasa).
I prayed hard that he's gonna grow up into a fine young man,beragama, berakal dan bertanggungjawab. He's gonna make mistakes in being one and I hope I'll be there to correct them. I wish I can protect him from all the bad things in the world but he's gonna have to learn to fend himself along the way. I love you baby. It’s time to sing the blues now

WILL my Wednesday and Thursday nights ever be the same again? Last week, for the first in a few months, I didn’t rush home from work to catch the repeat of American Idol with my dad – the season’s over!

Excuse the dramatics, but really, what else is there to do on a weeknight?

I’m not addicted to these shows, but I am suffering from withdrawal. Makes you wonder what life was like pre-Idol, doesn’t it?

Come to think of it, I’ve always been a fan of such TV shows. Even before Astro, I remember sitting in the TV room at home with the family watching shows like Bintang RTM – slim microphones, corny songs and badly choreographed dances that came with it.

And who could forget the hit show that was Asia Bagus! Week after week, my family would religiously plonk ourselves in front of the television to watch the contestants from around Asia compete – Kris Dayanti and Amy Mastura among others.

I’m not quite sure what the appeal was (I still don’t know) but I guess these sort of shows have their secret appeals which is why the are so successful. After all, they appeal to such a broad spectrum of people.

I will never forget the sight of my house a couple of years ago during the glory days of shows like Akademi Fantasia when my dad would be watching the show as intently as six-year-old Adam and nine-year-old Sara, my nephew and niece. These are two kids who barely used to be comfortable speaking Bahasa Malaysia, yet they were singing away to Menuju Puncak (with all the dance moves).

I still remember the first time I heard the word ‘AFUNDI’ as Adam perpetually jumped up in front of me going “Afundi Adam!” and my reply, accompanied by a puzzled look was, “Who’s Afundi?”

But it’s hard to blame him because even I have got caught up with this whole reality TV phenomenon. That said, I’ve only probably followed one or two seasons of Survivor! ever, and maybe a couple of seasons of Amazing Race. Yet, there’s just something about Idol.

I remember when Malaysian Idol was still showing barely a couple of years ago and how I got hooked on to it. In fact, it would get to such a severe conditions that I would have to budget my phone calls to make sure I saved up enough to SMS vote for my favourite contestant.

Sham, a friend of tai che, even helped me out. Working for telecommunications company, she had allocations for calls and SMS. I got her to vote for my favourite – Nita who ended up second runner up in the second season of Malaysian Idol – and it was quite funny to receive a message from her one day going, “I spent the whole day voting for Nita. Feel like my thumbs going to drop off.”
Of course, that message was in the form of an SMS.

I’m still unsure of what exactly is the hook to these shows – is it the performances, songs or the drama. Yet, what is nice to note is that shows like these transcend geographical boundaries.

I followed online the Australia Idol show a couple of years ago when I watched a few episodes while I was Down Under for holidays; my friend in Britain used to message me weekly with updates on Pop Idol and I have arguments with people in the United States on why I thought Blake Lewis should have won the most recent American Idol.

Closer to home, I love how it gives us city folks and those in smaller towns something in common – reality singing contests locally, whether its Idol, One In A Million, Astro TalentQuest or Akademi Fantasia for example, enjoy great ratings and its contestants have fans all across the country.

Perhaps its true then what they say about music, in that it speaks in a universal language and appeals to everyone without prejudice. The different people who have won the contests – Vince Chong, Jaclyn Victor, Mawi – are testament to that.

Now, if only I can find something else to feel good about to deal with my addiction ? er ? I mean, withdrawal.

Sampai sampai terus start shopping. Nasib baik rumah Mode opens at 10.30am kalau tidak harus tempat itu dulu yang dituju. After Diaz, we went to Rumah Mode. One thing I like about this place is the landscape. Cewahhh..then why did I spend only 5 minutes to appreciate the landscape and 3 hours inside the outlet? 3 hours later..inilah damagenya.

Hotel bell boy nganga tengok the paper bags. Our guide lagi la...kelu seribu bahasa.
Seperti biasa M*la keluar paling last...and 2 people sent to look for her pun hilang..then came out with more paper bags..M*la still tidak dijumpai, so pasukan penyelamat dihantar lagi masuk untuk mencari. Pasukan penyelamat keluar dengan more paper bags untuk diri sendiri.Ketua darjah had to put a stop to it by going in looking for M*la herself.. Elehhh..dia pun keluar bawak paper bag lagi. Hehehehehe.
Then pegi lunch kat Sangkuriang. Riang riang di Sangkuriang. The food was "pergggghhh"...sedap gila! Sup ikan was out of the world. Sedap punye pasal, lupa ambik gambar.
Malam, makan lagi..rojak kat Cibaduyut. Then sambung shopping kat One Stop Centre& Heritage. Tak sebest Rumah Mode. So esok 1 round lagi before Jakarta.
Next day, 1 round rumah mode & satu round Sangkuriang, we head for Jakarta. 2 jam aje kata Hendry. Memang le 2 jam tapi with the traffic jam (macet) makes it 5 LONG HOURS! Bontot kematu dan jadi kuali leper goreng burger. Claustrophobic brings a new meaning. then we arrived at Mulia Hotel. Waaaaa...makcik rasa macam princess nak pergi ball.The place is so grand. Id* saw Glenn at the lobby. Nasib baik years of training naik business class MAS prepared her for it, kalau tidak she might be tripping over her own foot.

During our 1 night stay kat situ, 3 wedding reception took place. The grand ballroom was very grand indeed.The night we arrived it was in blue (makcik dan konco konco peek in), the day after it was in beige. This photo was taken during sepasukan florist dok siapkan the place. Cantik amat sampai tangan gigil masa ambik gambar.

We went to Mangga 2 for shopping. Shopping lagiii...Ya la! Why do you think we are here? We bought DVD Grey's Anatomy episode 16 sampai end. Disebabkan yang satu ni terbabit beli Fantastic Four and Transformer. Tapi the sebab kalut sangat, tak perasan yang bukan Transformer yang kitaorang beli, tapi Transmorphers. Boleh? Sorry la Haqq** and A**r. Mama korang blur.
Oh and the Krispy Creme donut....kena mention. Memang sedap gila! I managed to bring mine home sebab at the airport we munched on Ida's. Hehehe...the selfish things that we do.

There's a price to pay for the shopping spree, buying things that we don't need..tapi
...the silliness & laughter that we shared, the lessons that we've learned(bag magic M*la, Roaming *120*), the Coke that I had to drink due to incident kat airport, terbabit dengan laces, the door incident..those were priceless.
SO? BILA NAK PERGI LAGI?

Due to my own ignorance, i had to waste the whole day kat Immigration. 8 to 8.35 am kat Imigresen D'sara and 10.57am to 3pm kat Imigresen Putrajaya. Masa ambik nombor kat PJ, the time printed on the ticket was 10.57am. Dapat nombor 3038 and they were serving 3003. At 11.30 am they were serving number 3005. #$%^&*...wahhhh...I don't even know that my cursing vocab agak wide jugak.
Tapi, at the end of the day I achieved Level 12 main Bubble Bloom. Mahsyuk gila game ni. Kalau rasa macam nak, silalah download di www.maxis.com.my kat Games Unlimited. Tapi jangan kata makcik tak bagi amaran...game ni tahap ketagihan dia agak melampau. Senang gila...tak pecah kepala tension. Tapi anda haruslah tidak buta warna.

We held a kenduri last Saturday. Kenduri arwah, doa selamat & kesyukuran. Thanks for the ones who turned up. Yang tak tu, it's ok...mesti ada yang lebih penting. There's a lot to be thankful for. Semua sihat selamat, cukup makan pakai, good friends, good food...etc. I believe true friends will stick by you through thick and thin, being silly together, sharing the joy and pain of life, sharing strength, being there without being present. For my friends who are actually my sisters by choice, you know who you are and I am such a blessed person to have you in my life. I am thankful.
On a happpier note, Arif turned 2 the same day.He is getting cheekier day by day. Loves motorbike...his latest passion is his drum set..present from Auntie May. When she asked me what to get him and I said " Anything that annoys us will make him happy"..I did not mean THAT!!!

Adopt A Turtle

Adopted a turtle today at Bodyshop KLCC. "It's a collaborative conservation effort between Department of Fisheries Malaysia (DoFM), Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), The Body Shop, Media Prima and Aquaria KLCC to rehabilitate the endangered turtles and terrapins"
Named the turtle Pink Cumulonimbus. Hope it's a girl turtle,kalau tidak kesian dia kena kutuk dengan turtle turtle lain.
Pink C will be micro-chipped and released to the sea. The sales girl told me that I can monitor Pink C movement, whether he/ she travelled to Australia ke, Bangladesh ke....Untuk apa aku monitor movement dia , I have no clue but it sounded quite cool eh?
I was hoping to adopt a leatherback turtle, since I have actually seen one kat Terengganu dulu...tapi it's not available for adoption.
Actually I only wanted the tshirt je. I am a sucker for all this statement tshirt...tapi since it's for a good cause..
So congratulate me the next time you see me cause I am now a proud parent of a turtle..Does this means A*ir, A*if & Ak*if have a turtle as their sibling? Errrr???

Fina's baby girl passed away 3 days ago. A day after Fina's birthday. Post mortem has shown she has blood clot in her head. It became a police case.

To my friend Fina. I am so sorry. I am so very sorry of your loss. Maha hebat dugaan yang kau tanggung ini. Kesedihan yang aku rasa ni mungkin hanya sezarah berbanding dengan kesedihan kau. Banyakkan berdoa, talk to Him, cry all you want. Don't bottle it up.You have the boys to take care of. If you need us, we are just a call away.

Baby Arisha, you're in the best of place now. No more pain, no one is going to hurt you anymore. I used to envy your mom so much as both of us was hoping for a baby girl. She was lucky to have you. She's even luckier now that you're up in heaven, waiting for her.Please know, you're the best thing that ever happened to her. I volunteered for M**** Community Bridge yesterday at Malaysian Blind Association. Entah kenapa everytime when I am pregnant, I tend to nak volunteer. Masa Arif dulu, I volunteered for the Tsunami Drive dengan PBSM. Oh? Did I tell you that I am pregnant? Yeah...I am pregnant. 22 weeks kot. Konon nak buat surprise macam Azah...tapi she's somewhere across the continent while I have to meet you guys every other months....camna nak sorok? Besides, I wanted Fina to be in the lime light.
There you go....Phew!!! Lega...
Anyway, the event went well. I was suppose to be the usherer for the contestant...tapi sebab terlalu ramai volunteer, I was ushering the usherer la pulak. We pretty much don't have to be involved sebab the 3rd party people was doing an excellent job. My fren got to usher Datuk DJ Dave, Freddy Fernandez and siapa tah lagi sorang....I pestered her to pass my resume to Freddy to pass to his brother...Nyehh..nyehh..nyeh..kidding..kidding!!! Entah apasal 'tah, cam teringin nak kerja ngan Air A***. Maybe nak match the tshirt dengan my new Crocs Sandal kot.
About 5, I think because of the heat (and tak lunch), i almost passed out. Nasib baik ada one girl urut tapak tangan, for blood circulation or something and it worked. I drove myself home..with the help of Fruitella and Mentos.

I went to a CNY open house once and one quite elderly uncle was staring at me. He finally and charmingly spoke to me…He said I looked familiar and he thinks he has seen me on TV. I pun dengan penuh demure dan merendah diri kata” Nolah Uncle…you must have gotten the wrong person.”

The same day, a friend’s BF remarked that I do look like one actress. Dengan penuh kembangnya, I Tanya, “Oh really….macam siapa?” Dalam hati yang penuh bunga carnation, sunflower dan chrysanthemum tea , I was thinking, “ Wardina ke?” (dia kan macam amat comel…) and the guy dengan penuh perasaan sincere menjawab…”Rahimah Rahim”

Stayed in Holiday Villa Subang during the weekend so the kids boleh berendam. Tak sampai 5 minit Amir dalam pool, hujan turun. Ayah dia buat pool kat dalam bath tub instead. Amir discovered the robe and beria-ria nak pakai. In his mind...konon konon dia wrestler. Shesssshhhhh....Arif dicovered that he can control the radio from the bed panel. Did not get the picture of him getting busy with it though.

In Langkawi for the weekend for a Treasure Hunt organized by the company. We flew in to LGK, stayed in Holiday Villa, Pantai Tengah and got a Nissan Sentra for our ride. Smoothhhh....
The Hunt was fun but we kinda got "swayed" into going elsewhere which is not in the trail..Heheheheheheh...
Akibat membaca blog Yasmin Ahmad, we went to Four Season Hotel. Fuiyyooooo...mulut tak boleh nak tutup...bukan sebab dok bercakap banyak tapi sebab terpegun ..We wanted to look for the pool tapi sebab hujan....we got stuck at the receiving area je.
Gamaknya, tempayan ni la yang "patpuluh" orang penyamun menyorok masa nak samun Ali Baba.Well,...maybe smaller but if I am one of the penyamun, I'll need this big of a tempayan.
We disqualified ourselves from the hunt when we decided to go up the Gunung Raya cable car. I was laughing hysterically almost all the way akibat gayat...(terbit air mata). the scare was worth it. The view was totally breathtaking. I wish all my love ones were with me at that moment as I doubt I'll brace myself through that ride again! GAYAT! Arwah Abah will never go through it..I am pretty sure about that.
For the coolest people in my Hunt team, for the fun that I had, for my family who let me have fun without them .....I am thankful.

Birthday is officially over. Dapat 32 birthday sms from friends & family. Thank you all. Mizuan even have a reminder on his phone. Agak significant jugak rupanya aku ni.
Letih dah jadi 27 tahun…dah masuk 8 tahun dah ni. I think I’ll move up to 28 next year. Please remind me to do that next year.
Solat Maghrib kat Yatt’s place last night. Went through her watch collections. Coach, Tag, Omega, Bvulgari, and a few others…tetiba terselit Follie Follie. The one I have been eyeing for a while but to chicken to purchase.Mahal tu babe! It’t the one that you can change the straps..Yatt’s has 5 straps…black, baby blue, pink, red, green and errr..satu lagi tak ingat. So being friends for 21 years ( I sat next to her in Form 1), roommates in ITM and friends forever, I am entitle to cajole her using my famous Hush Puppies face and pretty pleaseee.. to buy it from her at flea market price. Hey! It’s my birthday after all!. And I am also giving her my new Chanel lipstick yg dia pakai masa wedding dia…fair tak? Don’t have to answer sebab the watch is mine!!!
Balik rumah, I got something in the mail. I got a website template CD from May as my present. Thank you..aku memang nak benda tu..Thank you so very much! After this I shall develop a new template for balloonhub.com.

I’ve decided to be bulimic…or anorexic or whichever so I can lose weight. For the kesekian kali a colleague ask me how far I am with my pregnancy. Stoicly I answered, “Nope, I am not pregnant just fat”.
I think it the time of the month…my hormones have extra curricular around this time. I am emotionally haywired.
I had Burger King egg croissantwich for breakfast this morning. As my 1st step towards being bulimic, am I suppose to puke it out or what? Maybe I should go and read more about it first in the internet.

Sunday. Came back late morning from J's & A's place. Mama attending a kenduri with big bro. Adik out for brunch with friends.Hubby going out for lunch with his BF cum GF, Az. A wants McD. Ask hubby to tapau for us. 2 beef burger and 1 Happy Meal Nugget for A. Wanted to take a cat nap for 20 minutes which turn out to be 2 hours instead. Woke up hungry. Can feel the beef burger in my mouth aredi. Went down, no Beef Burger waiting as A wallop the whole thing to himself. The nugget Happy Meal plus my burger.

Now I know how Mak Tanjung felt when her son, Pekan wallop her portion of telur ikan tembakul.."batu Belah Batu Bertangkup, ambik la aku, makan la aku...aku kempunan nak makan Beef Burger McD"...muahahahahahahah!!

Okay...the drama is over...I went to Picnic food court today for McD Beef Burger but end up eating Spaghetti Olio at Milano Pizza instead. I am thankful for the choice's I have. Kesian kat mak Tanjung...dia takde choice. And A said sorry...he actually have that guilty look on his face. For a 5 years old to feel guilty about eating his mommy's lunch...I am thankful..as I must have taught him right, somehow.

Hopeless Passion for Crab Rangoon

One thing that I miss about America….Crab Rangoon. Sedap gilaaa…especially the one kat Wok Express depan Hardings kat Main St. (i Kalamazoo, Michigan)

I got this from a friend who used to work in a Chinese Restaurant kitchen kat States.

Wantan skin (where to get the big ones ya?)
Cream cheese
Crab meat…artifical also can..
And lots of sugar….to counter the cream cheese saltiness
A dash of pepper

Mix the cream cheese with sugar and then the crab meat, lepas tu pepper.. Put them in the wantan skin then deep fried it.

Sudah sejuk sikit boleh dip with sweet sour sauce.

Pitam.................................2 saat. Life has never been the same...ever...

And today he woke up early excited to go to school sebab nak bagi the card to her..and showing off to everybody even to Arif.

I am truly blessed.

while trying to cross the road after lunch tadi. The Hyundai Sonata (Jag wannabe..or was it the other way round?) didn't stop at the Zebra crossing. You want a zebra to actually cross baru nak stop ke? Bongok! Beli kereta mahal mahal tapi courtesy sikit pun tak dak. Tak tengok ke kat luar ni panas lit-lit?...hang sitting in the car with the aircond and all...no harm in stopping for like 5 kali kelip mata. Ngok!
Oh!..on the other note, EM paid me RM 60 for 3 Valentine's delivery I did for him last week. Ahaks!!! Bestnye...I think I'll take leave again next year and do Valentine delivery je... Buat apa penat badan buat delivery untuk business sendiri which is almost non existence. Asyik aku je yang terhegeh hegeh.
I am RM 60 richer...minus RM 20 for the gas. Oraitkan? Maybe I should do delivery services for the florists in KL. I can even buy my Yellow color Kangoo Renault, kan?
Hehehe...I love my ideas...sometimes I can be so brilliant and vain all in one breath. Ahaks... For that , I am thankful.

The tenant who is staying at the Shamelin condo is moving out. My agent is looking for a new one. If no one is interested ,I will take it as a sign that I should move in. I will have to give up some luxuries to pay the bank on my own. I can afford the luxuries a sI am staying with my mom...save a lot, eh? You think I can do it? a place of my own....sounds nice eh? My dream home is a house with an O shape...or L shape...with a matured garden in the middle. French window...big kitchen with an island...(even though I can't really cook...but who cares, I am no MArtha Stewart). A study room for all my books and craft stuff, a bedroom that will be decorated like a Bali hotel room or something like that. a play room for my kids...If I move in, I will be at Level 5, oveseeing a swimming pool and with KLCC scenery. 3 bedroom with 2 bathroom. One of the bathroom is so small, I had to move my butt out of the way before I close the door...(or is it my butt is the problem here)? A far cry from my L shape dream home. I'll settle for that for now...Boleh lah tu... At least I have a place to call a home...and it''s mine..All mine. for that, I am thankful.

Today Air Asia's website very the busy dengan orang cari tiket free. Tried last night, to no avail. Then again, I was not trying serious enough as I seriously do not have any destination i mind. Rasa macam nak pegi Bangkok again, rasa macam nak pergi Bali, then ada rasa macam nak pergi Bandung....ok now rasa macam nak minum air Bandung...*Sigghhhh**
Arif dah start putting everything in his mouth. My bag, our remote control..semua dah ada patch air liur dia. This morning he was pulling the daun mempelam into his mouth. Nampak macam kambing la pulak anak aku tu. My kid.
He is also starting to laugh out aload when we make faces at him. Most beautiful music in my ears..

I've started doing sit ups.. Rasa macam perut dah kempis sikit. heheheheh...that's a lie to make myself feel better. I need motivation . Mana mungkin it's working already as baru buat 2 kali. And only for 30 x per session.
I once joined a gym, same building lagi.. tapi malangnya malas nak work out. Takde gang (alasan) So the gym jadi tempat shower je. I would love to join the women only gym kat Mid Valley tu ...boleh separa naked sikit...(alasan lagi)
Hopefully azam nak buat sit ups dua session sehari, pagi dan malam akan berjaya. Dan 30 x akan menjadi berpuluh puluh kali lagi.
Today, I am thankful I finally started doing the sit ups selepas resolution untuk start aje dah dibuat a few years back. Say a little prayer for me, semoga berjaya.

Lamanya tak update blog ni...malas aaa...and busy macam bee. Anyway, today my last day kerja before cuti raya. Selamat hari raya everibodeeeeeeeee...aku tahun ni tak sempat buat baju raya sebab lambat beli kain. so hanya ada lipstick raya Stila dan tudung raya. Baru jugak tu. Something blue and something new. The tudung I mean...eh..macam nak kahwin la plak.
Oh ya...also kain raya sebab tak sempat buat baju. Nothing much happen to me sepanjang kehilangan di alam blog. I got a new baby..he's gonna be 5 months next month. Cool eh...This year akan balik Perlis...Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee......after 5 years kat Seremban. Actually, I am more excited about going to Hi Tien in Kuala Perlis dari nak actually beraya kat Perlis. After Abah's death, perasaan raya tu macam dah sudden death bersama. I still don't like lagu raya...it gives me air liur turn into batu feeling..
Tapi, camnapun, I am thankful for all the things that I have, for all the love ones I can still hug, for all those disgusting cute bubbles my baby buat dengan saliva dia, for my hubby who forever load Touch & Go last minute, for my first born son yang dah kenal huruf and tak berdrama lagi everytime nak pegi Kindy..Ya Allah..I have so much... Thank you. ..Alhamdullillah.
